Is that a woodgrain texture? Whatever it is, I like it, the subtle swirls on the rhino horns are very cool. The zebras are probably my favorite, I'm not sure why.
:iconmeradragon:
There are so many textures in there that I don't remember what I used anymore!

I cant really submit a real critique because Im not subscribed, but I would be more than happy to give you my opinion here! :)

Firstly, the image has great composition and perspective. The proportions and anatomy and fantastic, although the adult rhino to the left is slightly off. I really like the use of warm colors for the paraticular animals you are portraying here, and the subtle usage of a cooler green really makes it pop. Second, the use of texture is amazing. It shows technique and discipline. The textures are rich without being too bold or drawing away from the delicate inks. Smart usage of inking, proper colors, and skillfully applied textures make this an amazing composition. Great work!

I can't use the critique feature so I'll just post it here as a comment.

This feels like a WIP to me. As is, I almost don't know what to say so here's my first impression:

According to the lighting, this compound is either outside of the arc or on top of it. Those adult rhinos are gigantic in scale next to the woman of whom I barely noticed next to the baby, unless she's a tiny 5-year old girl. Well, none of the girls in Noah's family of eight were that young.
Nicely rendered animals though.

The kitty on the fence want some milk- I can tell. :D
:iconmeradragon:
hahaa, I made up the ages of Noah's family. because I wanted to draw a girl next to a rhino.

Yeah, it doesn't feel finished to me, either! I was trying out a new style, and... it just doesn't come together as well as I had hoped. Oh well.

Thank you! I like to try otu new things, but I always lov ehow people utilize texture in their artwork.

I think it's silly that you need to be subscribed to offer critique, anyway! I appreciate it just as much from someone who isn't throwing money at DA, hahaa! I assume the rhino to the left has a small butt. I used very very vague references for this one... plus, made up the above shot x3 oh, how I pay for it!

Thank you again!

No problem! Yeah, a critique is a critique. Damn dA! *shakes fists* I think youre right about the rhino too, but its hardly noticable, really just a tiny bit off. Anywhoozle, this is a great image and I love those textures. :) Keep it up!
