We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I think a better way of putting what ~FuckTuesdays was trying to get at is, it's flat because of contrast. Not enough difference between darks an lights, or base and highlights (but I'm pretty sure you know what contrast is and how to correct it). The artist course i took (for Army, MOS-25M) by no means makes me an expert, and i see others who go years into school for the same profession, but among the many things i came away with, Contrast (aside from attention to detail, proportions, and all that other nifty stuff) makes or breaks the image, being just mediocre to good, or great to fantastic.
Still though, your work amazes me m'lady, keep it up! ^.=.^
