Basically... this is the introduction of Rising Darkness. Islenteon and an old sitharian seer are placing a mixture of herbs into a water basic (or well... I figured that if I was a seer who always needed to use water, I'd have a well in my house) which calls up the images of the green dragon who Islenteon believes will be the world's savior... too bad she doesn't show up for another thousand years!

woah boy... crazy marker stuff and it took me several days of on and off working O_o Mostly just worked on during my lunch break at school... and... speaking of that... my lunch break is over rather soon and I haven't eaten or gotten money or anything. :D

edit--
Upon closer inspection, I can not even describe how HORRIBLE the scan made this. *dies a slow and painful death*

It takes a lot of practice :) You'll get better!

Your human anatomy is really improving quickly, but there's a few problems I have with the face. I can't really describe them well, but I'll red-line and show you what I mean on AIM.

"As a solution to various problems you may encounter upon the way, let me suggest this: Make Good Art. It's very simple. But it seems to work. Life fallen apart? Make good art. True love ran off with the milkman? Make good art." -Neil Gaiman

like woh, really like how you made the dragon look old and the gems you put on the seers coat :D Nice touches

Fancy! I like all the details you did. I'm a little suprised, since I remember imagining the scene as being much darker back when I read it, but I'm glad to see how you view it.

same here, actually... but I gave it a different twist?

The truth is that I'm just getting to understand better marker use, and I need to order a larger set before I can do harsher shadows xD I was missing... a few key colors that really would have helped. (not the oft used light red-pink color)

When I get my second job (waiting to get in there) I'll have money again :D
that means
A. college and
B. art.

No... jems. Just a broach and inlaid design. I just fail at medieval design, and I inked this with no computer to look up design upon :D
