Basically... this is the introduction of Rising Darkness. Islenteon and an old sitharian seer are placing a mixture of herbs into a water basic (or well... I figured that if I was a seer who always needed to use water, I'd have a well in my house) which calls up the images of the green dragon who Islenteon believes will be the world's savior... too bad she doesn't show up for another thousand years!

woah boy... crazy marker stuff and it took me several days of on and off working O_o Mostly just worked on during my lunch break at school... and... speaking of that... my lunch break is over rather soon and I haven't eaten or gotten money or anything. :D

edit--
Upon closer inspection, I can not even describe how HORRIBLE the scan made this. *dies a slow and painful death*

I think my monitor's color is off too, which might make things look worse xD

I realized that right after I commented lol. :P Such is the way of sleep deprivation on my mind. :O

Islenteon: Now to add these herbs to the scrying well...
Sitharian: Actually, that was my porridge.
Hyun: Forgive me.

I love how bright this managed to turn out. Most of the time, you wouldn't think that the world'd be in danger on a sunny day-- it's usually raining fire and crap, right? The perspective here really made the room seem a lot more open and the little things you put in like the birdcage on the shelves and its residents hiding in the rafters makes this picture feel complete.

May I also say that your human anatomy pwns mine? I need to get working on that soon :D

Don't try to keep thinking pessimistic thoughts. You will run out.

Avatar by =Foxchibi. She's pretty cool like that.

It's also sunny because I'm not quite used to drawing darkness with markers yet :D

I might revise the scene to make it more peaceful... adds contrasssst

This looks really amazing, it's a great scene and you did a wonderful job with it, but there's one thing that kinda bugs me about it, the staff in the foreground seems to be more in the way than creating a sense of depth. I know it may sound off but it really just seems to be more an a distraction than anything.

Still, everything is amazing, wonderful work on the details and colors.

xD it was the only place I could think of to put Islenteon's staff.

I should -not- be getting Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure flashbacks... but that can be said for a lot of things I see. Great drawing. (Ooh! He's got that one collector's plate! Or is that a future-seeing crystal ball, in which case meh.)
:iconxdragonfirex:
That looks really good. I like how you have the contrast of old and young in this.
I need to practice doing backgrounds more =p Mine suck, unlike yours. *envy*

There is no such thing as death. There is only... change.
:iconmeradragon:
The irony of the matter is that Islenteon is a loooot older than the sitharian... xD He appears around his mid-twenties in age, though.

That is so great ^_^ You'd make an awesome seer.

And you're right! I do! One of the random times I barely see you at school I'll yell at you until you see me, and give it back to you ^_^
