What. The. Hell.
OKAY NEWSFLASH TO ALL ARTISTS! One does not have to be a big time professional in order to hand out critique. In this case, the artist giving the critique was RIGHT, and the "professional artist" and his friend were just unable to receive any criticism.
I seriously have no real response to that other than to leave a super lengthy critique comment and see what happens. I cannot stand people who assume that they're better than everyone nd therefore on a higher plane. My honest belief is that once you place yourself above all other artists, you won't ever improve because you can't allow yourself to anymore.
If I ever act like that, kick me or something.
(Now, I want to add that I do NOT advocate leaving any flames for this person. However, I highly advocate leaving intense critique if it's true)
EDIT
Sorry guys, I left him a valuable critique and he hid the comment.
Oh well, Some battles aren't worth fighting. I still state that I wish to never have such over the top ego about people who are "lesser" leaving critique. I respect everyone's critique.
On a side note MY HOUSE IS VIBRATING!

My ability to concentrate no longer exists. After 10 hours of ridiculous customers I just want to REST! In pure quiet.

Agreeing to your statement, after reading the critique, I just wish artists would take criticism and not be all anal about it. Decide whether or not to take it to heart and then move on, and not make such a big deal about it. -_-
His comment about ~Fire-n-ash's artwork caught me totally by surprise, and shocked me. Not only was it rude, it was extremely immature. And the whole "oh, I'm blocking you btw" thing actually made me lawl a bit. How childish!
Some people...wouldn't know a good critique if it came up and slapped them in the face.

I love your responses, though. Way to give them some cold hard truth with reference!

"Oh good. The more innocent kids that are helplessly encased within the metal shells of two furiously copulating robots, the better." [link]
And it's very applicable in this instance where the response to a measured and unoffensive critique was completely over-the-top. Most artists above the age of 24, amateur and professional alike, show more grace than that in dealing with out-and-out trolling.
Although, on the bright side, I now watch ~Fire-n-ash. She has some awesome stuff.
